SOLID HARDWOOD FLOORING

Solid wooden flooring is milled from a single piece of wood that is air dried or kiln before sawing. According to the look and appeal of the floor, the timber can be shaped in three ways:

Quarter-sawn

Flat-sawn

Rift-sawn

The moisture content plays an important role in the manufacturing of wood. That is because excess moisture can warp the product during storage and transport. Quality checks are also performed at every stage and the final step in the manufacturing process is to apply an aluminium oxide factory coating. The process of coating gives the finish its hardness which ultimately brings durability.
